Florida Gulf Bank offers “tax relief” to area accountants

 

 

FORT MYERS, FL (March 22, 2010) – With April 15th quickly approaching, local accountants are working around the clock, including weekends. In a gesture of goodwill and community spirit, Florida Gulf Bank’s principals and staff visited several accountants’ offices on Saturday, March 20 bearing “Tax Relief Packages.”

 

Each package contained coffee, candy and other goodies to brighten the day for those working all week long. Florida Gulf Bank also provided information about Express Deposit and other new technology that enables their clients to do their banking right from their desks, especially during tax season.

 

“This is our way of showing appreciation for the hard work our local accountants do for their clients, especially this time of year,” said Bill Valenti, Florida Gulf Bank’s president and CEO.

 

Valenti and his staff will “hit the streets” over the next few Saturdays, delivering “tax relief packages” in the neighborhoods surrounding their eight Lee County banking offices.
